I have known Sandy a long time, over 30 years. She has been an inspiration to me in many ways over the years. She has given me many kicks in the butt to get me off my butt. She is a Wildlife Biologist who has worked on bears and birds over the years. Now though she is dedicated to art and her early life comes through in her work mainly painting wildlife and landscapes She has also helped and inspired many people with you YouTube instructional videos. She is going to begin a series of in person workshops too!

"For me, there is nothing quite like creating art. When I paint or sculpt, I enter a quiet zone of creativity. There is no doubt that the Universe creates through me because when I finish a successful painting and step back to look at it, I barely remember creating it. Frankly, I cant believe that I did. Unsuccessful paintings invariable happen when I attempt to insert my will. Those paintings are not recoverable. In them I can see toil, and they do not make it into my body of work that is available to collectors."
I recently read a quote from Eckhart Tolle:
"All true artists, whether they know it or not, create from a place of no-mind, from inner stillness."
